Ellwood Fire Deparmtnet

Fire Prevention

In the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Department, our commitment to fire prevention extends far beyond extinguishing flames—it encompasses a proactive approach to safeguarding our community. Beyond the traditional understanding, "Fire Prevention" embodies a comprehensive array of activities and community engagements undertaken year-round.

Throughout each calendar cycle, members of the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Department actively participate in numerous local events. These engagements range from block parties and festive parades to educational sessions hosted in schools and businesses, ensuring that fire safety remains at the forefront of community consciousness.

Our Fire Prevention programs are run by our dedicated Fire Prevention Officer LT. Zachary Stuff. Zach and his comittee serve as the focal point for organizing and executing our fire prevention initiatives. Whether you seek to schedule a personalized fire prevention session for your family, school, or business, Zach and his team stand ready to assist.

For inquiries or to arrange a fire prevention session, please don't hesitate to reach out to our fire prevention officers via email at fireprevention@ellwoodfd.org or by text/call - Zach 716-777-1660.

At the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Department, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with you, sharing our expertise and knowledge in fire protection to foster a safer, more resilient community. Together, let's prioritize prevention and ensure the well-being of our neighbors.
